Step back in time and discover what life was like in the pioneer kitchen! You will sample dishes made from old recipes and learn about fascinating food history from the 1800s. You will learn how early settlers prepared everyday meals using simple ingredients, open-hearth or cast-iron methods, and resourceful techniques born out of necessity.
