Carving and Additive Handbuilding - customizing premade dishes
This class will refresh the basics of hand building and will follow along to learn the basics of carving and sculpting on premade items. Then the students will choose a premade item to customize and personalize with the tools and techniques they’ve learned as well as additional guidance from the instructor.
Originally from Colorado, Kelly is a local potter and painter who got her start as a high school art teacher. She sells at the occasional summer market and loves connecting with people, encouraging creativity, and making pieces that are beautiful, and whimsical but also useful, and helpful in day-to-day life.
