Valentine Origami with the Friends of Ritter Public Library In-Person

Join long-time folder Susie Frankle for a fun hour of making origami hearts and creating one-of-a-kind valentines!  Susie trained in New York City under Michael Shall, a leading American origami expert who, in 1980, helped launch one of the largest American origami organizations - OrigamiUSA. Susie continued her origami studies in California through the Pacific Coast OrigamiUSA Conference (PCOC). She has led classes at several PCOC conferences and at California Council on Adult Education seminars, demonstrating how to use origami in teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Participants will go home with one or more hand-made Valentines and envelopes ready to mail or present in person. Fancy origami papers and all supplies are provided by Friends of Ritter Public Library as our “valentine” to the community!
